A Never-Ending Mystery

Christ is not complete
without diversity.
Each person expresses Christ
in a unique way.

God is a never-ending mystery.

Every person is a word of the Word.

God is not remote.
God is here, with and for us.

God is relational.

God is self-giving.

God is humble not regal.

Love requires freedom.
We need to be free
to choose love.

“God is not complete without diversity.” That’s another Gerry keeper.

A side-bar If you will from today’s liturgy: Jn 13: “Love as I have loved you.” Jn 13 again. “He loves to the end.” Interesting isn’t it how connectors make all the difference???? Thinking of my sister’s death – her final seconds. She first whispered to my bro-in-law (her husband) “I love you.” Then he allowed me to embrace her. Her very last words were to me and barely audible: “I love you.” This comes very strongly to me today…. Love as I have loved you — to the end — literally sometimes.

God is infinite, diverse, ever lasting love.. and this completes him/her/it.
