Not Fickle

My awareness of
God’s mysterious presence
within me
helps me become more aware
of the same presence
within others.

To love others as Jesus loves them
is an extremely difficult,
if not impossible,
task, yet it must be
our primary goal as Christians.

The key to attaining happiness
is to give it away.
But we love hanging onto
what we’ve got.

Divine love is not fickle.
It has only one desire:
total self-giving.

Happiness grows only in the garden
of unconditional love.

Charity is the art of knowing
how to do the will of God.
